How to Use Yahoo Messenger
This is a cool way to stay connected. Usually, we download and install software to chat with Yahoo friends.
We cannot install Yahoo Messenger software on different (friends or public) computer. In such situation, you can use online Yahoo Messenger that allows you to chat without installing any software.
- To launch Yahoo Web Messenger
- Open your browser.
- Navigate to Yahoo Messenger.
- Choose the link on that page that says Or start chatting on the web. This is the screen on which you log in to your Yahoo account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your email address and password, which may be pre-filled if you’ve signed into Yahoo from that computer before.

Send Photos From the Mobile App:
⇒ Right below the text box, tap the picture icon that looks like a mountain.
⇒ Tap the photos you want to send, and each of them will have a check mark to indicate that they’ve been selected but not yet sent.
Note: If you haven’t already, you might be asked to give the app permission to access your photos. This is normal and is required in order for Yahoo! Messenger to send photos on your behalf.
⇒ Tap Done load the images into the message.
⇒ If you want to add or remove pictures before sending them, tap the plus icon to the left of the images, or the exit button to remove them.
Note that you can add duplicate images this way if you for some reason want to send multiple copies of the same photo.
⇒ Tap Send.
