List of Successful Candidate for Nigerian Immigration Service
Well following the directives of the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and prisons service board (CDFIPB), the Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS) wishes to inform the general public that the list of shortlisted candidates will be notified or informed with further instructions will be sent via email address to all successful applicants.
Notification will be sent to all successful candidates for the next stage of the NIS recruitment exercise which is the Physical and Document verification Exercise.
How To Check List of Successful Candidate for Nigerian Immigration Service
To check your name, all you need to do is to follow the below procedures;
- Visit the official website https://portal.immigration.gov.ng
- Click on your states of origin as stated during the registration/application to check if you are shortlisted.
- Finally, check for your name on the list that corresponds with your personal state of origin.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE NIS 2017 PHYSICAL VERIFICATION
All shortlisted candidates are to bring the following;
- Evidence of invitation either as SMS or printed out from your email address
- Application confirmation slip with ID
- Referee/Guarantor’s form duly signed and completed
- Medial report showing your fitness and state of health from a well recognized government hospital.
- Original and photocopy of your credentials filled during the online registration
- Pair of white canvas
- White short, vest and stocking
NIS 2017 DATE FOR VERIFICATION EXERCISE
The date for the release of the NIS list of shortlisted candidates as listed below;
- Superintendent November 27th, 2017
- Inspector November 28th, 2017
- Assistant November 29th, 2017
