Recently, Korede was asked about his financial status since he teamed up with Mavin Records, his response was “My standard of living has elevated; my account balance is much better now”.
The young act joined Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records a couple of months back and since then, his profile has soared. He shot himself into prominence after winning a music competition, which consequently threw him into the waiting hands of Don Jazzy.
Speaking about his rise to fame and his new lease of life, Korede said he could not hide the fact that his life had assumed a new dimension but would rather not trade it for anything else in life. “ My life has changed but I am still the same me. I won’t deny the fact that my societal values and standard have changed. I can no longer move freely; I try to avoid being mobbed. I am loving all the attention but I am still me; the same person I am with the same God”.
Korede said he appreciated his female fans, who constitute the larger part of his fan base and said “I have love from my fans, it is overwhelming. The other day a female fan had my picture all over her birthday cake and it was scary. I felt grateful that a fan had me in such high esteem and even loved me that much. It however felt scary and awkward having a piece of me being chewed by the birthday attendees.”
