Please Note: Candidate is to be informed that WAEC 2019 registration, exam date and the closing date has already been decided by the board. The registration is expected to begin from September to February 2019.

How To Visit WAEC E-Registration Portal 

Some candidate may want to visit the web portal to carry-on registration or see how the registration portal looks like and the procedure involve…

1). Launch your favourite web browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Explorer or Safari) depending.

2). Visit http://www.waeconline.org.ng/register/

3). In this website, click on the “May/June Examinations” icon.

4). Your school will have to sign in as a new user.

5). The examination enters the necessary details like centre number, candidates waec passport, subject of candidates, name and surname of candidates.

6). Click on the “Checkbox” by the affirmation statement to affirm that all the entries including the attached passport photograph are correct.

7). You can then download syllabus, timetable and registration template.

8). Then the registration process continues.

NOTE: For a School Principal/Examination Officer to use the e-Registration Website as a new user, the school must have procured the Online Registration Scratch Card or Pay Voucher from the WAEC Zonal/Branch Office in charge of his/her State. The Examination Officer could then use the PIN (Personal Identification Number) on the Scratch Card or Pay Voucher to sign up as a new user.

PRICE FOR WAEC 2019 REGISTRATION:

Different schools charge different registration fees for candidates. It is no news that many schools in Nigeria (especially private secondary schools) charge up to 50,000 Naira and even above for WAEC registration in their respective centres.

The normal price fixed by WAEC is less than #12,000. It is advisable you go to centres that charge less. You should also note that miracle centres charge higher for WAEC registration.

Rules And Regulations Governing the 2019/2020 WAEC Examination 

The following information would be on the website so that candidate could read them before
completing their entries.

(1) Candidates should note that examination fees are not refundable.

(2) Candidates are to start their Registration by emailing their fingerprints.

(3) Entries must be accompanied with good quality (not “wait and get”) passport size photographs.
Entries with unacceptable passport photographs will be rejected.

(4) Registration pin/code purchased in any location can be used for uploading entries from
anywhere.

(5) Candidates should study carefully, the information on the website before registration.

(6) Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses as well as the Timetable for
the examination which they can download on the website

(7) Candidates who lose their registration pin/code will purchase another card.

(8) All candidates must go to their examination halls in mufti and without arms. No professional
uniform of any kind will be allowed in the examination halls.

(9) The entire results of candidates who make more than one entry will be cancelled.

(10) Smoking is not allowed in the examination hall.

(11) Cellular phones and electronic organizers are not allowed in the hall.
