According to the list given, Katy Perry has toppled Taylor Swift to be named in Forbes magazine’s 2018 list of the highest-paid women in music, with earnings of $83 million.

While she was followed by Swift, who placed second with pre-tax earnings of $80 million (£62 million), thanks to the success of her sixth album Reputation, which sold two million copies worldwide in its opening week, and the launch of her Reputation Stadium tour.
Taylor Swift
Forbes suggests that Taylor would have taken the top spot if more of her tour dates fell inside the scoring period.
Beyonce
Beyonce rounded off the top three, bringing in $60 million (£47 million), thanks to her performance at Coachella earlier this year and her joint album with husband JAY-Z.
